A story started in Tokyo, Japan where Tomoko woke up in the morning and started to pack her belonging in hurry. Her mum rushing Tomoko and told her she going to be late to the airport. With the breezing morning, with the background of a Mount Fuji in the window frame, Tomoko brushing her teeth while taking shower. She is frustrated because of her Doraemon alarm clock is not working. While her mum preparing for a Japanese breakfast, Tomoko drying her hair and packing some last minute stuff.
Tomoko a hardworking, enthusiasm, liberal, independence lady often speak for the poor , she also an anti-war activist & a nature lover. She spoke 3 languages (English, Japanese, Mandarin)
After that, the whole family going to have breakfast together and they suppose to send Tomoko off to the United State but Tomoko insist to go to airport by herself. Her dad & mum only send her off from their house and they give her a gift, a Omamori lucky charm, is written ‘Nam Myoho Renge Kyo’. Tomoko fell very blessed and at the same time she is sad to leave her family. Her sister and niece came and say farewell. They hug each other and cry, she promise her parents that she will study hard in the state.
The moment Tomoko reach the airport, there is a long queue in the check-in counter. Tomoko is so nervous and she hope she can make it to the plane on time, a few minute later a guy in front let Tomoko pass and check-in first. Tomoko so shy but she have to accept his offer. She thanks the American guy.

Tomoko manage to board the plane on time and she sitting next to the American guy who helped her just now. They become friend and his name is Richard. They having a good chat on the plane and sharing some same hobby. They immediately become friends and exchanging contact number.
Tomoko arrived in Big Apple city, she was amazed by the skyscraper, the Empire State building and the vibrant of the city. She boarded the yellow cab and enjoy the sightseeing, along the journey she admire the New York park, the statue of Liberty, such a wonderful autumn in the big apple city, she immediately fall in love with the city. She saw some message on the wall near ground zero, World Trade Centre.
Oh, is really sad, they are so many picture people passed away in the World Trade Center ground zero, a lot of message written in cards saying we love you, papa, mama, brother, husband-wife and friends. Heart-breaking moment.
Tomoko arrived at her apartment and started to settle down in Fifth Avenue street. In this neighborhood she started to make new friends. There ‘s lot of Asian community staying here.
She getting tired and take a nap, suddenly she saw a light from the sky. She saw her grandma Aoki Kuniko face in the sky, she smiled at Tomoko and said ‘ You will become a Revolution Girl in this world, keep on saving people from misery. Spread the truth to everyone’.
Tomoko wake up from her dream and feeling blessed to see her beloved grandma Aoki in her dream. She feel like a Deja-Vu, sub conscious, she started to miss her family. She recall what is the meaning of her grandma words. Some flashback of her family & grandma sweet moments (praying and eating) She feeling motivated and optimistic that she will find happiness and success in US.
First day of the morning in US, Tomoko enrolled at Brough Manhattan Community College, she study liberal art.
Is her first day of class, she makes a lot of new friends from all around the world. The diversity of the people from Asia, Africa, Middle East, Caribbean, Europe make the class more colorful and lively.
Tomoko has study for a couple of semester, she realized there is some racial discrimination in her class. She started to voice up about her disappointment with some teachers who are directly speaking some sensitive issue that touch about the war in the Middle East during the class. Tomoko feel some student might get hurt from the teacher statement. One German teacher Miss Iris spoke about the benefit of the war in the Middle East. She said war would boost up the economy of one country, people are enjoying good business during the war. She is supporting the war, the weapon industry.
Tomoko trying to defend one Ukrainian student named Okusana in the classroom because Miss Iris trying to harassed her by saying bad things about her country. Tomoko asking the teacher to stop making provocation comments in the classroom, at one time Okusana are crying and run out the classroom, the situation is unbearable. Tomoko realized if she keep on interfere in the school matter, soon or later she will be in trouble.
Tommorow morning Tomoko went to school as usual. This time she having a new classmate, a guy came from China sitting beside her. During the recess, the China guy came and harass Tomoko, accusing Japanese killing his ancestors in Nanjing Massacre. He shouted at Tomoko and keep on accusing her for causing her grandfather’s death during world war 2. Tomoko was shock and deny all his accusation, she try avoid him, she was so embarrass and most of the students laughing at her. She was devastated and leave the school earlier.
After a long day study in the school, Tomoko feel tired and go back home. She slowly walking through a back lane alone. She saw many drug addicts sitting there unconsciously. She feel uneasy like somebody is tailing her. She walk faster and faster until she reach home. She taking a deep breath, and look back…nobody there. She thought she might be too tired and having many illusion. She just comfort herself. After a few minutes, she having a hot shower and suddenly somebody was knocking the door loudly. She open the door but nobody was there. Tomoko feel very weird and continue doing his house core.
After a long day work, Tomoko sleep at 12 midnight. She is too exhausted. After a few hour, somebody knocking her door again. Tomoko was curious, who is knocking her door in the middle of midnight. She open the door and suddenly somebody shouting and pushing her on the floor. A SWAT team came to her house and arrest her.
Tomoko was so devastating and in pain. She have no idea why SWAT team came and arrested her. Suddenly her alarm clock ringing, she wake up from her dream. It was a dream. Tomoko so relief and continue her sleep.
As usual she continue her routine and go to school everyday. One fine day, there was a white man following her back to her apartment. Tomoko was so worried and run faster. That guy chase her and trying to arrest her, this time for real, is not a dream. The guy use anesthetic to make her faint and bring her to an undisclosed place.
Tomoko was locked by the CIA. She was interrogated by them and she was charged under the US Terrorist Act, a crime that she never convicted. She was mentality abused by them. Tomoko have to go through all the brutal torture, will she survive this hard time? Ending scene, she in the lock-up wearing prisoners shirt)
